This guided wilderness experience combines high passes, glaciers, canyons, gorges, forests, rock formations, and ethnically Tibetan cultures. Closed to trekkers until 2002, few outsiders have explored these virtually untouched villages or climbed the many peaks surrounding them. Stay overnight in teahouses along with one night in the Nar Phedi monastery.

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our team will greet you and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel. Take this opportunity to rest and explore the bustling streets of Kathmandu, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and rich cultural heritage of Nepal’s capital city.

Drive from Kathmandu to Koto (8,530 feet / 2,600 m)

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Koto. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Himalayan landscape as you traverse through quaint villages and winding mountain roads. Arrive in Koto and settle into your accommodations for the night.

Trek from Koto to Meta (11,680 feet / 3560 m)

Today marks the beginning of your trekking adventure as you set off from Koto towards Meta. Trek through lush forests and picturesque valleys, passing by traditional Tibetan villages and ancient monasteries. Arrive in Meta and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the Himalayan wilderness.

Trek from Meta to Phu (13,386 feet / 4080 m)

Continue your journey towards the remote village of Phu, nestled amidst towering peaks and rugged landscapes. Trek through rocky terrain and high mountain passes, taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayas. Arrive in Phu and experience the unique culture and hospitality of the local community.

Acclimatization day in Phu (13,386 feet / 4080 m)

Take a well-deserved rest day in Phu to acclimatize to the high altitude. Explore the village and interact with the friendly locals, learning about their traditional way of life and rich cultural heritage. Alternatively, embark on short hikes in the surrounding hills to acclimate your body to the altitude further.

Trek from Phu to Nar Phedi (11,450 feet / 3490 m)

Bid farewell to the village of Phu as you trek towards Nar Phedi. Traverse through rugged terrain and steep mountain trails, crossing crystal-clear streams and pristine forests along the way. Arrive in Nar Phedi and unwind amidst the tranquil beauty of the Himalayan landscape.

Trek from Nar Phedi to Nar (13,484 feet / 4110 m)

Continue your trekking adventure as you make your way to the village of Nar. Trek through high mountain passes and rocky terrain, surrounded by panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers. Arrive in Nar and immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the local community.

Trek from Nar to Ngawal (17,192 feet / 5240 m) via the Kang La Pass (5,240m)

Today’s trek is challenging yet rewarding as you ascend to the Kang La Pass, situated at an elevation of 5,240 meters. Traverse through rocky terrain and snow-covered slopes, reaching the high mountain pass and soaking in unparalleled views of the surrounding Himalayas. Descend to Ngawal and rest your weary legs after a day of exhilarating trekking.

Trek from Ngawal to Pisang, Drive to Besisahar (8,179 feet / 2,493 m)

Embark on the final leg of your trek as you descend from Ngawal to Pisang, passing through quaint villages and terraced fields along the way. From Pisang, enjoy a scenic drive to Besisahar, where you’ll spend the night and celebrate the completion of your trekking journey.

Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu

After breakfast, bid farewell to Besisahar as you embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible trekking adventure in the Annapurna region.

Depart Kathmandu

After breakfast, our team will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. Take with you cherished memories of your journey through the majestic Himalayas and the warm hospitality of Nepal until we meet again, farewell and safe travels!
